Stepping Up for Mind: Surrey Challenge Sees Incredible Effort and Generosity!

The Surrey hills bore witness to an inspiring display of resilience on Sunday, 6th April 2025. Forty-three determined individuals from Optime and DHL laced up their boots and took on the formidable Surrey Three Peaks Challenge, a demanding 23-mile trek across the iconic Box Hill, Holmbury Hill, and Leigh Hill. This diverse team, ranging in age and fitness levels, faced lung-busting climbs and tricky, uneven descents, each step fuelled by their commitment to raise vital funds and awareness for Mind.

Displaying incredible grit, the entire team crossed the finish line between seven and nine hours after setting off! This remarkable achievement showcased their resilience and teamwork in the face of a significant physical challenge. With every step, they were driven by the knowledge that their efforts would make a tangible difference to those grappling with mental health challenges.

But the success didn’t end at the finish line. Thanks to the overwhelming generosity of our donors, we are thrilled to announce that an absolutely phenomenal £5,890 has been raised for Mind! This incredible sum will enable Mind to continue providing their crucial support services, helping individuals across the UK to find the advice and support they need.
