Optime Community Cup

The Optime Community Cup 2025 has concluded its fantastic run, successfully uniting the aviation industry through a series of exciting 5-a-side football tournaments across the UK! This competition fostered industry camaraderie and provided a unique opportunity to connect through the power of sport.

Following intense regional competitions in Gatwick, Heathrow, and Manchester, the anticipation culminated in a spectacular grand finale on Thursday 3^rd April 2025, at the iconic rooftop football pitch of Hotel Football in Manchester, overlooking Old Trafford.

The Grand Finale and Champions!

The grand finale saw the final four teams – ABM, British Airways Euroflyer, Dnata, and MAG (Airports Group) – compete to be the ultimate champion. After a hard-fought series of matches, Turbulence from MAG (Airports Group) emerged as the champions, triumphing over their worthy opponents in a display of outstanding competition and sportsmanship.

The ultimate prize for the winning team, Turbulence, was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to play against football legends from the Class of ’92! Gary Neville, Nicky Butt, and Paul Scholes graced the pitch, creating an unforgettable experience for the MAG team and all in attendance.

• Spectacular Grand Finale: Held at the iconic Hotel Football rooftop pitch in Manchester.
• Ultimate Prize Achieved: MAG (Airports Group) played against the legendary Class of ’92.
